Esther Coombs @ Origin

Loved meeting Esther Coombs at Origin the contemporary craft fair today…we talked vintage cups and saucers…Esthers love of architectural illustration…landmarks…heirlooms…girls names…Esthers blooming pregnancy and the possibilities of bespoke name plates that would sit perfectly at Olive Loves Alfie alongside other heirlooms.  Love Esthers iconic china and glass cake stands available from her Etsy store.

With an impressive press book you may well have seen Esthers ‘Drawn On’ interior range before.  The illustrations are drawn directly onto a gorgeous selection of old plates, coffee pots and tea cups to create unique up-cycled vintage interior products.   Painting on old plates is something you could do with children for fun but the real secret lies in Esthers skill to fire vintage china and the beauty that she has an original concept that breathes life quite beautifully into the discarded that can go on to last for an eternity.
